I was raised in Lucia on the South Coast of Big Sur, where my family has homesteaded since 1885. Growing up in such a remote place shaped my appreciation for the land and the materials it provides. It was what started my journey with Jade. I spent time hiking and exploring the rugged coast line with my father, collecting stones and shaping them into pendants and earrings for my family. I then branched out to selling to the small shops up and down the Coast.
Over time, my work expanded and today I work with Jade and carefully selected stones from around the world to create pieces that are inspired by our dramatic coastline.
